This is the second time we have used Silverstone Residential Surveys and each time we have been exceedingly impressed with not only the service from Joanne and the team, but also the quality of the survey report from Ross Haggie our surveyor on both occasions. We've recently completed on our first home, and chose Silverstone as our surveyors. As soon as I got in touch, the team were very quick to send a detailed quote, along with their T&C's and potential survey dates. Once confirmed, they handled the booking with the Estate Agent, and kept to the agreed timeline precisely.

Before commissioning our survey, we had read a few examples from other providers, and one real survey for another property that someone else had commissioned, and all of them had seemed a bit generic, so we were a bit worried that ours was going to be the same.

However, this should not have been a concern at all, as our survey came back fully tailored to our house, confirming some of the things that we suspected already, and offering lots of new useful information we didn't know. With this info, we were able to instruct builders to provide quotes for some extra work required before we could move in. We didn't need to get in touch with Ross, the surveyor again, but he did offer to answer any follow up questions we had regarding the survey. From the contents of the report, we could tell he was very knowledgeable and thorough in his revision of the house.
